It also supports optional UHF RFID powered by the Impinj E310, making it ideal for data-intensive field and enterprise applications. The EA530 delivers outstanding industrial durability with simultaneous IP65 and IP68 ratings. The IP65 rating ensures protection against dust and low-pressure water jets, while the IP68 rating guarantees dustproofing and the ability to withstand continuous immersion in water for up to 60 minutes at a depth of 1M. Additionally, the device is drop-resistant from 1.5m (1.8m with a boot case), ensuring reliable performance in challenging environments. Perfectly suited for retail, transportation, logistics, and more, the EA530 is designed to enhance data collection, management, and traceability with maximum efficiency.
Optional RFID for Expanded Functionality
The EA530 offers optional RFID functionality that can be seamlessly integrated with the standard gun grip. Users can perform both convenient barcode scanning and RFID scanning in one device, with RFID reading distances of up to 1.8 meters, making it an ideal solution for efficient inventory tracking and asset management. The EA530 is also compatible with the RP300 long-range RFID mobile reader, enabling reading distances of up to 25 meters. This high-performance capability is ideal for real-world applications, helping retailers and warehouse operators efficiently manage high shelves, storage areas, and inventory workflows across retail, logistics, and field service environments.
SmartPA: Better Audio Output
SmartPA (Power Amplifier) takes full advantage of the relatively smaller speaker to enhance better sound quality with maximum volume. Under distracted scenarios or noisy environments, outdoor workers access messages through a clearer, more natural, and high-quality audio experience while speaking on the mobile computer. The built-in SmartPA solution detects the current and voltage in speaker mode and minimizes circuit / temperature damage, providing seamless communication between coworkers to achieve productivity.
